ARCADEPVP RULEBOOK

Enforced strictly across all competitive events, ranked modes, and communication channels. Violations may result in mutes, ELO resets, or permanent network bans.

These rules apply to in-game chat, Discord, tickets, and other official communication channels.

  • Do not be racist, bigoted, homophobic, sexist, or discriminatory.
  • Harassment, targeting, bullying, or disrespect toward players or staff is prohibited.
  • Do not make inappropriate or disrespectful remarks about deceased individuals.
  • Do not be excessively toxic or intentionally provoke other players.
  • Suicide, self-harm, or serious-harm encouragement or jokes are prohibited.
  • Do not spam, flood, or excessively repeat messages.
  • Do not create or escalate unnecessary drama.
  • Do not share inappropriate, harmful, malicious, or NSFW content.
  • Do not advertise other servers, communities, products, services, Discords, IPs, or promotional links.
  • Do not violate another person's privacy or share personal information.
  • Do not make false or harmful accusations against players or staff without valid evidence.
  • Real-world trading of in-game items, currency, accounts, or services is prohibited.
  • Do not attempt to bypass the chat filter.
  • Threats, including death threats, doxing, DDoS, swatting, or similar threats, are prohibited.
  • Do not DM players to advertise, promote, or invite them to external servers or communities.
  • Do not post content promoting or linking to other Minecraft servers or games for advertising purposes.
  • Do not lie to or intentionally deceive staff.
  • Blackmail and extortion are prohibited.
  • Do not evade punishments.
  • Do not knowingly assist players who are evading bans or are blacklisted.
  • Falsifying, editing, or fabricating evidence is prohibited.
  • Do not repeatedly reopen resolved tickets or finalized appeals.
  • Do not impersonate staff, players, or content creators.
  • Do not encourage, pressure, or assist others in breaking rules.
  • Follow reasonable staff instructions and respect staff decisions.
  • Cheats, hacks, and modifications that provide an unfair advantage are prohibited.
  • Do not use modifications that manipulate client-server communication, packets, ping, or latency.
  • Drag clicking is allowed at the player's own risk.
  • VPNs, ExitLag, and similar connection-routing services are not allowed without an approved exception.
  • Do not bypass supported Minecraft version restrictions using tools such as ViaFabric, ViaForge, or Multiconnect.
  • Do not knowingly assist, cooperate with, or benefit from cheaters.
  • Do not exploit bugs, glitches, unintended mechanics, or map exploits.
  • Do not load mass bots or intentionally cause server performance issues.
  • Intentionally disrupting gameplay or gaining an unfair advantage may be punished at staff discretion.
  • Account sharing is prohibited.
  • Offensive or objectionable Minecraft names and skins are prohibited.
  • Racist, offensive, sexual, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate builds and signs are prohibited.
  • Do not intentionally avoid meaningful combat by continuously running, hiding, or camping. Temporary repositioning, healing, or kiting is allowed.
  • Do not misuse `/helpop`, `/request`, `/report`, or similar commands.
  • ArcadePvP is not responsible for restoring progress lost through a compromised account.
  • Do not manipulate ranked gameplay for an unfair advantage, including kill farming, stat farming, SR farming, queue dodging, queue sniping, matchmaking manipulation, throwing, or coordinating match outcomes.
  • You may only compete in ranked on one account per season.
  • Alternate accounts may not be used to bypass rankings, matchmaking, restrictions, or punishments.

Mods are used at your own risk. If a modification provides an unfair competitive advantage, it is prohibited even if it is not specifically listed.

5.1 Allowed Modifications

Additionally allowed: HUD mods displaying own player info, non-competitive cosmetic mods, visual-clarity mods (Fullbright, Clear Water), harmless performance mods, non-competitive texture packs, Replay Mod (for recording), and Mouse debounce-time modifications.

5.2 Disallowed Modifications

5.3 General Modification Restrictions

  • Mods that modify movement, reach, or normal PvP interactions are prohibited.
  • Mods that automate gameplay or actions are prohibited.
  • Mods that alter block placement or breaking behavior are prohibited.
  • Mods that manipulate inventory, hotbars, slots, or item management are prohibited.
  • Mods that provide abnormal opponent information are prohibited.
  • Mods that increase visibility of opponents or their locations are prohibited.
  • Mods that manipulate ping, latency, packets, or connection behavior are prohibited.
  • Mods that bypass normal Minecraft gameplay mechanics are prohibited.
  • Mods that allow abnormal keybinding or double-binding are prohibited, except for standard mouse-required bindings.

If a modification is not listed and you are unsure whether it is allowed, ask staff before using it.
